The idea for the site came about after one of the members of staff at Consumer Trust had numerous problems with a broadband provider. Despite glowing reviews elsewhere (that came from price comparison sites that take commission if you sign-up), he felt that there was a bit of a conspiracy (strong words, we know, but you tell him that) and that an impartial site was needed. Thus, Consumer Trust was born!
