What is Consumer Trust?
ConsumerTrust.co.uk is a website run by a media company in the sunny, hot and dry north-west of England. Okay, so we may have lied about one bit there. But it is run by a north-west company. It is here to help UK consumers decide which broadband package to go for and which ISPs to avoid.
Do you get paid for reviews or commission for sign-ups?
No. That’s what sets us apart from the other broadband consumer sites. The comparison sites all take commission if you sign up to an internet service provider. Some of these providers pay more than others and therefore the ones that pay the site more are generally recommended or featured more. It’s hardly an impartial service.
We want users to get true opinions and reviews and as such we do not take money, commission, bribes, holidays or little kittens as compensation for recommending certain companies or services.
How do I leave a review or comment about an ISP?
Find your ISP here, click the review button and leave a review or comment at the bottom. Don’t forget to rate it out of five.
I don’t understand what broadband is, help!
Take a deep breath and don’t worry. Our broadband guides answer all of the top questions that our users ask and you’ll be well on your way to becoming a broadband expert in a jiffy.
What are the sponsored links?
As we remain impartial and do not take commission, we needed to find a way of covering the costs of running this website (it takes a lot of hard work and time). Therefore, we have some adverts (sponsored links) placed around the website. These come from a third party broker and we do not get to choose the adverts that are displayed which keeps our integrity and impartiality (is that a word? It is now).
